I have a siamese kitten, male, and shortly after I got him, he started climbing up on my chest and tries to bury his head into the back of my neck while purring very loudly until he falls asleep. Why does he do this, and is this normal behavor? I have had three other siamese, and none of them have ever done this.

i have a cat that does that but he is not siamese. i just thought that he just does that because he was the runt of the litter. usualy the smallest is the baby of the litter and thinks that you are his mother. frankly, you are being the used as the mother.
