i'm really involved in sports and i got my naval pierced 2 days ago. I got a ring instead of a barbell. When i play sports should i tape it down or what? Also, my friend said when she taped hers down, it healed funny. How can i prevent that?

Don't tape it down, it will heal crooked.

i played soccer and got hit int he belly button a lot .. with a barbell.. which i had taped to me.. and the bottom hole moved a lil bit.. so i eventually took it out.. but i repierced it recently.. and it hurt! so good luck with ur situation..
