my chi is 8 months old and she weighs 10lbs. (not heavy) large and has broken down ears an underbite and will NOT bee held at all (we've had her since she was 2 1/2 months old is she full breed?  We have 4 other dogs one chi and we never experienced this.  I got her from a pet store (first time). Want to know if she is full breed, thanks so much (love her lots o lots  Don't mind size or other things but wished she would like to sit once and awhile with me. We paid 800 for her.

I have a one yr. old male, neutered who weighs 9.5 lbs.  He has gotten heavy since I had him neutered and is a real chow hound.  Likes food.  He is heavier than my other chi's.  I have 5 total.   It's like Lays potato chips.  You can't have just one.  I have to admit I am concerned about Gizmo's weight.  I have stopped feeding table scraps altogether.  I don't think I was helping matters any by sharing with him.

Never buy from a pet store. You paid $800 for what sounds like a mixed breed.
