modernism is the movement in visual arts, music, literature and drama which rejected the old victorian standards of how arts should be made, consumed and what it would meant but postmodernism is negative and is general term which is applied to literature, art, philosophy and cultural among others.also postmodernism is denied the existance of any ultimate principles and it lacks the optimism of there being a scientific or religious truth which will explain everything to everyone.
