I just got my belly button pierced today. I have been doing research, but I just wanna make sure I have the facts right. 1. I need to clean the piercing with water and an antibacterial soap twice a day 2. I need to make a saline out of water and salt and apply it to the piercing if crusts begins to appear around the piercing. Is this information right? If it isn't, please tell me. And i'd also appreciate more cleaing info if anybody has any:~D thanks!

NONO!!! Norwalk tattoo does not have accurate aftercare instructions!!! For the most up to date aftercare instructions go to www.safepierce.org. It is the Association of Professional Piercers website. These guys are the ones who set the standards for piercers.

i got my belly done like a week ago and they told me not to use anti bacterial soap unless u use it everytime u bathe already cuz then ur body is use to it but if u don't then u should cuz it might kill the bacteria that is tryin to hepl it heal.

wot do iu do if i dnt lyk it and i wont to take it out and get it re done wot do u recomned ???????? STUCK !!!!! myu friends say if i take it out it eill get infected and my mums got stressed anout it so i dnt know wohat to do \?????

hi i want to get my belly button pierced but my mum sais no!! im 12 years old do you think that is old enough?? although im really annoyed for her saying no i can sort of see where she is coming from!! did you have to persuade your mum to let you have yours done? if so how did you do it?? thanx xxx

Well I got mine piercing a week ago and I just love it and I just clean it with sea salt and water and go around it with a Q-Tip that is what the piercer told me to do so good luck lol and you can actually after a while use Bactine!

I am getting my belly button pierced a couple of days after Christmas. I'm so excited to get it done because i'mfascinated by piercings, bu I am also freaked about the pain. I just wanna know if it hurts or not. I know it's different on different skin types, but would you be able to give me a clear percise answer?

i just got mine done yesterday and it hurts really bad today , like i can't even have my shirt brush against, is this normal and if i'm just cleanin mine with diluted Epsom Salt will it still clean just as good as the soap? somebody plz help!

hiya, i have just had my belly done, clean it every other day, with salt and water! if you clean it too regually it doesnt give time for it to heal, because it is constantly wet, so clean it.. dont touch it the next day, ( lets it dry up) then clean it the following day! mine is looking awsome, and thats what i do.
