I have a 1999 Sebring Coupe, the engine shuts down regardless of what speed you are driving or at a stop / running idle. Next tried starting the car, the engine cranks but won't fire.  The fuel pump spools up. The crank case sensor was replaced but didn't fix.  Leave sitting for a period of time and the car starts.  Any help on this one? Thanks

Check the fuse block connector.
Pins may be loose or bent.

You might have a problem with the emergency shutdown relay's. I had the same problem with my car for some time.

those relays are in place to protect the car if you run it out of oil, overheat, etc.

I think it costs me about $300 for the set of three that are in there, even though only one went bad.

Good luck.
