ok i know how to get more "Mime" materia-by another one...

ok i know how to get more "Mime" materia-by another one being born after you master the first Mime, right? well i have one problem... the AP'snot putting the points up!!!! the same situation goes with alot of my other materia. i just can't seem to advance any of my materia anymore.what's going on with my materia? any help at all would be greatly appreciated. :)

Perhaps you are using them in a weapon or piece of armour that has no materia growth.

The ultimate weapoms have no materia growth, so equip different weapons that have materia growth
