how do i prepare potassium bromate KBrO3 and what are its uses

Ive been trying to figure out how to prepare it, but I havent yet figured out a way. Its used as a food additive, for pools?, and as an oxidizer.

Possibly you could do an electrolytic oxidation of hot acidified KBr solution with stirring, analogous to chlorate production. I know you can do KClO3 formation by analogous reaction with hot acidified KCl solution with constant stir. Try it!
