i just purchased a rottie.. the father is german and the mother is american bred... what should i know about this?

bucaneer55, when you say German, do you mean the dog was whelped in Germany and imported to the states?  If the Sire was born in the US then he is an American Rottweiler with German lines.

Where did you get your pup from and what specific information are you looking for.
