How can I check whether a euro note is forgery or not?

First of all, you need to check the little circles (a vertical stroke of 1 cm width with small circles inside) in the note. These are often forgotten and note many people know of them.
On the bigger notes you can find holographic signs with the values engraved, on smaller ones you will find a small holographic-like spot.
Always feel the paper, it shouldn't feel like the paper you put in your printer!
Also note the value: this can be 5, 10, 50, 100, 200 or 500 euro, nothing else. I hope you got some small hints here
