there are many ways to get rid of a computer virus, it just depends on what kind of virus do you have also be aware to what site you go... note some sites that you May happen to know or just go into will have a virus. These virus infected sites promote the site you just went in to or makes your computer download something from that site. for ex: like a search tool bar or those of you that like x-rated things you might get x-rated pop-ups either way it's still a virus. viruses are all connected to each other while one virus might let your comp. reboot others will have your comp. go slower than normal. these viruses were all use for modifications to do different things and it all started from one or the same virus...you could track the virus down yourself but it would take while do to some of their stealth settings but if your like me and lazy like me get a virus detection program...

First log into Windows 98 When it is loading up put press control alt then delete their shouldnt be anything there if there is its a virus the only thing that should be there is explorer then go into an antivirus and remove it

the best way to get rid of any kind of virus's, is to take of the hard drive and scan it with other computer.(no effected with norton anti virus

This may be hard to believe, but you can't get them out without the proper software. For instance, if it is Windows, go a computer store (anyone of your likings) and ask for a cd (or floppy disk) that will get rid of your virus. Usually it's spy ware, ad ware, and other things. But I do hope you get help soon.
