I had bought a glass disc about 3" dia which was kept in a quantity of milk before boiling. Once the milk started boiling this used to vibrate and indiacte by a sound that the milk had started boiling. I want to buy one on the net. Can any one tell me where it is available and it's name. Thanks Pervez.

I have one, it is of the brand Pyrex and I bought it in France, I cannot find it either, but I went in to a cook shop and they told me it comes from the US.

this link tells what it is. I was told it was a "pot schtop" which obviously is not spelled correctly. Anyway, it does keep things from boiling over, I like the pyrex ones
