I am new to the Society of Friends.  I appreciate any help from a learned Quaker to mine questions.

Are the Quakers also Puritans ~ does "Puritan Quakers" make sense?

What is the Quaker view on (1)bleeding statues, apparitions, and other such phenomena, (2) Spiritualism and the occult?

The Religious Society of Friends was founded at the height of the Puritan movement in England.  It would not be correct to say that Friends are Puritans, as the Puritans strongly disagreed with Friends and even persecuted them.  In Massachusetts the Puritans killed many Friends, including Mary Dyer.  No, I don't believe that there is such a phrase as "Puritan Quakers."

There would not be any particular view by Friends concerning the things that you mentioned.  I think it is safe to say that most Friends would consider these things superstitions and not compatible with what we believe.
