It is not suggested that you get a tattoo during your pregnancy.  Usually tattoo parlors will refuse service because they don't want people to later sue them if something should go wrong during that person's pregnancy.

I think that it's best that you wait until after you have the baby although they say most likely you will be fine. As we all know, when you are pregnant your immune system is down, so if you get any infection for any reason whether it's from dirty needles or lack of care after it's done, it's going to effect the unborn child. I wouldn't take the chance, I refuse to risk the health of my baby over something that can wait 9 months.
