Help!!!! i have a soon to be 6 month old mini.  He is so sweet and we love him BUT we cannot get him to go on papers.  I have 3 other dogs that trained so easily (not dachshunds)....so I know the basics of  how to do it.  We are desperate...does anyone have any helpful suggestions.  thanks.

I have a 5 month old doxie myself, and we are also having a hard time housetraining her, and like you, I have 2 other dogs, also not doxie's who were easy to train in comparison. I read that doxie'sare very stubborn when it comes to housetraining and they are one of the hardest dogs to housetrain. We are not trying to train ours on paper, as I want the accidents out of the house all together, we are trying to train her to go outside only.
