they entered the fighting portion of the war on December 7th 1941 after pearl harbor the attack on the us island by japan

America entered war in April 6, 1917. The war ended in November 28, 1918. By the time american troops were ready to fight, it was June/July of 1918. Americans only fought for like 4/5 months.

the usa entered the war bc we keept giving money to france and they went in 2 the war & was using all of our money up sp we went and fought .
