i am going out of town,a friend said he will watch my jack russel terrier dog--he has two adult Chow dogs, that seem to be friendly when he brings them to my house, Will my little dog be safe at their house?

Your dog will be fine.  If the chow chow's have be coming to your house on a regular bases then they know you and your dog.
