My right sliding door's lock doesn't function either. I took off the door panel and found that the lock mechanism was broken. Normally I would think this strange, as the lock mech is metal. But since this is a Plymouth product, I some how think it should be normal for something to break off without it ever getting a direct hit. I can only assume that my kids closing the door too hard might have had something to do with this. Anyway, the whole lock mech needs to be replaced, and I haven't even tried to see how much that will cost me. This Van has cost twice in repairs than what I paid new for it. (just kidding, but it sure feels like it). If you have an answer to this query, please respond.
