I am considering getting a puppy back home, she will be a 3month old black lab when I get home. My mom picked her out for us. I have three boys ages 6,5, and 1 1/2. Will this be a good choice for us? We live in an apartment, but will walk frequently. Also how big will she be when we get her, because we need to fly her home?

I think you have a good breed picked out. Labs are very good with kids. Since you sell dogs at about 8 weeks old when they aren't that big, 3 months is just 4 weeks after that age so the pup shouldn't be that big. But don't be too surprised if it is about half the size it will be when full grown. Puppies grow up fast! Good luck and have fun with your new pup! Tanisha
PS. You might want to consider that it would be cheaper to buy a dog in your area than to fly one out. Just a thought.

It's a really big decision choosing to get a puppy. You need to consider that with such young children are you capable of giving the puppy enough of your attention especially with training? think if you all went out for a walk in the rain, not only have you got three muddy children to attend to, but a muddy pup too. A puppy is just like having another young baby. But ultimately it is your decision to choose. A puppy would be a wonderful addition to the family and I bet your children would love it to pieces. Good luck with whatever you choose!
