I have an air cooled '72 vw campmobile and the engine starts...

I have an air cooled '72 vw campmobile and the engine starts smoking like crazy after driving for a couple miles. it seems to run great the whole time but the smoke is terrible. i am told its darker gray smoke coming off the engine not the exhaust. what could be wrong w/ it??? please email me an answer at KennyC555@msn.com

oil leaking on manifold or a piston ring

oil is leaking from the push rod tube seals or valve covers. running all over the heat exchangers.

seals on oil cooler. Our cooler is cracked.Is smoke coming out of pipes or off the pipes. I have 1970 bus 1800
