Try using sea salt soaks.

Dissolve 1 and a half teaspoons of sea salt (not table salt) in 8 oz. of filtered or bottled water. Then wet fresh cotton wool or gauze with the solution and gently hold it over the piercing for a couple of minutes. Do this 2-3 times a day. (You can also use a q-tip that's been dipped in the salty water, to gently clean away any crusty stuff that's been softened up by the soaking.)

Do not use Bactine, it is a very harsh chemical for new piercings. and do NOT by any means use proxide or rubbing alchohol. It eats away at new growing skin cells. Use sea salt soaks or sea salt solution.

You should never use polysporin, hydro peroxide or vaseline. That stuff all traps bacteria and doesnt allow youre piercing to heal.
