My belly button piercing was rejected after I had it for a 1 1/2 yrs. I waited for over 1 year to finally had it pierced again. I noticed that my piercing becomes more shallow and narrower. Will it keep on migrating and I had to take it out again ?

yes it will migrate again, some people just cant have belly button peircing because of the shape of their belly button or the amount of skin the have covering it. unless you want to keep doing the same repiercing over and over again thing you've been doing, i suggest you take it out for good.

listen it happend to me to. did yours split the skin and fall out? mine did any way i woudnt have it done again it would just happen again and again just face it ure belly button isnt made for a piercing! :) from it_happend_to_me

What does it mean when it gets rejected? Does it like fall out or something? Also whats better to get when you first get it done? A brbell..or a ring? When you gete it piercd will it bleed or anything? I heard of some people that have fainted after they got it done....what can you do so that won't happen. Yeah...Im sensitive to metal so i went to my doctor and they told me to put antibiotic cream on it..and it should help...Pry not..but im soo tired of it..lol!

mine is migrating as well, it started with much more skin on the bar than there is now... there is a thin scar trailing behind the bar, which is how i know it is moving. yeah, that probably means that i'm not meant to have a belly button ring, but from what i've seen among my friends, the scars aren't that bad or noticable, so i'll probably get mine repeirced after it heals (after the skin holding it in gets so tiny that i have to take it out, that is.)

I had my belly button pierced less than a year ago and it got infected and then it healed and now the skin in between is a bit thin but not too much.. i have to take it out for awhile anyways .. if i take it out and let it heal and then get it peirced again will the skin still be thin?

it happened to me the skin got smaler and looser and i want to get it peirced again but im not sure i peirced it my self and it was fine i took it out for gym and let it close, but when i got it perfessionaly done it rejected it. but i really want it. does anyone know what i can do? does anyone know why it does that?

Hi this is a question. i had my belly done last week. it is still tender and a little bit pink. it sometimes discharges some stuff, much though. it hasnt bled or anything and ive been using salt water and antispetic sprays. is this normal or does it sound infected? could you please email me on littlenat182004@yahoo.co.uk thanks!!!!!

Well i can tell you, once out...dont bother again unless theyre were special circumstances..my first navel piercing slowly got closer and closer to the surface of my skin..so i was forced to remove it. A year and a half later i was dared to do it again (mind u i wanted it back really bad) So i did it...much cheaper the second time..but after a couple weeks it got snagged on my pj pants and it was such a nasty mess it wasnt worth saving...Alas i am left with two tiny scars...and i want it done again...but i know my fait ...

Hey . . . me and a friend got out belly buttons pierced three days ago . . .it didn't hurt @ all . i swear!! . . .lol i didn't even think he started and he was like ok yoor done, it's awesome, and it looks great! . . .but it's red . .i think it's normal since it's a piercing and all . . .but is it ok for it puss a little bit when i clean it? and exactly how do i clean it . .the piercing told me to clean it with Johnson's baby wash in the shower with jst my hands . .and to soak it in sea salt every second day for 20 mins . . .is that all i need to do? thnx!!

Mine just fell out yesterday, after being in for about a year and a half. At first the chunk of skin covering the bar was significant, but it just kept getting thinner and thinner until it looked like a rubber-band stretched too thin. With little to no ceremony, it simply opened and the bar fell out. Now I have these two little bits of skin that look like horns over my bellybutton, which I HOPE will heal. Ah, well. It was fun while it lasted.

well it could be happening to you but it depends on how long you had your belly buttion done for and its naterall for it to be red around the piercings

i got my belly button peirced on my 18th bday 8 months ago.... and i noticed the skin for my peircing got smaller and smaller and then finally i decided to take it out b4 it fell out on its own. if you see this happening to you jsut take it out other wise youll have an even grosser scar... man im so upset that i had to take it out.. but i guess the belly button peircing just isnt for everyone. I def. regret ever doing it... now i have a huge scar on my belly and i feel stupid wearing a bathing suit.... def think about wut ur doing b4 u go get ur belly button peirced

I've had my belly button ring for about 9 months. But I had lost the ring for one day. I put another ring in but I almost had to force it in. I'm scared that it's infected or that it's going to migrate. heyy yah wel i diid my own belly and i put like earings inside of it until i just got a belly ring and it took meeh a long time to put it through the hole that after that i started using it for like a whole mounth and then one day i noticed that i had lost my belly ring so yah help meeh out i need advice on this

mine is doing that right now and it flippin' sucks hardcore style cos what.....i paid $50 to have it fall out? WTF i say! ANyway....good luck and hopefully our bodies will finally accept the piercing. If it does it again, i am not gonna repay...and you shouldn't either....go for the tounge...'tis golden ;)

go to www.blackstar.ca. they are excellent. u can get it repeirced again, but touching it, moving it and playing with it break down the tissue to make it migrate. read what they have to say. on the main page scroll down to navel. mine migrated and fell out yesterday. i was very happy to find that i can get it repierced no problem. get it peirced with a ring, then switch to a barbell after about 6-8 weeks. good luck.

just becuz it rejects once doesnt mean it will continue to everytime. a rejection can occur for many reasons including being too young and still growing or it could be the the first time ur body sees it as a foreign object, if u try again ur body will recognize it and it is least likely for it to reject again. . . but then it again it could be just becuz ur body doesnt want it there sometimes there are ppl that just cant have one but just becuz it rejects once doesnt mean it will always happen, i had mine done 4 times and the 4th time it finally stopped rejecting. .. good luck!

actually having your belly button pierced is a great thing to do it makes you look fabulous on the beach etc! it doesnt even cost that much and the pain!!! oh my god there is no pain so dont worry if your having it done and dont be nervous because there is nothing to be scared about coz they numb it and people say the clamping bit hurts it doesnt! trust me! i just had mine pierced today and already i love it!!! so go on why dont u try it!

ok listen up! dont use a frikkin safty pin, use a hollow needle. if u use a hollow, u wont have to stretch out ur skin so much with rings. make sure u have a 14 gage, that is the normal size, its ok if u dont use clamps, but it would be better if u did, im 13 and i have my belly button done, no matter what pple say, IT DONT HURT!!!

0MG ME 2!!!...The skin covering the ring is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY thin...I can actually see the metal of the belly button ring thru my skin [where the piercing is], & I REALLLLLLy dont want it to close bcause I went thru WAYY..TOO..MUCH to get it done & it was doing all fine & great & I just happened 2 look @ it 2day @ my friend's house & noticed that the ring itself was going 2 fall thru if I didnt take it out, im medicating it & letting it heal [hopefully :/]...soo just 2 let you guyz kno that your not alone & I hope 4 the best 4 you all [& myself]...=]

well this weekend i am goin to get mi belly button pierced i am 14 and cant wait.. anywho i dont relli have an outy but its not all that inni either , when i stand up i dont have much skin overlappin it but would it matter if u pulled the skin out and pierced it??...

i'mgetting my bellybutton pierced tomorrow with one of my best friends, and i'mreally really scared. I have no idea what to expect at all. I cried when I got my ears pierced, so, I dont know what I'm going to do. I'll probably freak out. Can someone please tell me exactly how it feels?
