I realize that this question has been asked before, but I am desperate.  I have a six year old female Jack Russell who is extremely aggressive with all dogs.  I recently found an abandoned  1 1/2 year old female Jack Russell who is relatively mellow and friendly toward other dogs.  My six year old has already shown some aggression toward the new dog.  Is there anything that I can do to help these two peacefully co-exist?

From my experience no, they are both very aggressive dogs and they will compete for #1 until the end. No stopping it!
