I've heard that adding mothballs to fuel can increase the octane level.  Is this true?   If so, at what level can it become harmful to the engine.

it makes your engine sound better i put them into a 125cc thumpster a little bit of power increase, sounds alot better doesent splutter as much as it did,   I only used 3 mothballs   hope this helps   Dann
