My 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager will not shift out of 2nd gear.  Following a Trans flush/Fill, with no improvement, I researched to find some good info.  Seems that it may be a "limp home mode" auto generated.  Codes indicate "#45--Turbo Boost limit exceeded--logic module has auto shutdown engine". Disconnected battery to clear faults.  Upon next attempt to auto shift to 3rd, fault returned.  What does this mean and how can it be corrected?

Replace your input and output speed sensers. They each cost 12.50 at Chrysler dealer. They can give you a diagram as to where they are located. Easy to do.

I have a '98 Sebring that has the same problem.  It won't shift out of 2nd gear.  I replaced the filter and fluid (the appropriate atf-3) as well as the selonoid pack with no luck.  I have disconnected the battery for days at a time with no result.  Can someone please help me get my car back on the road???

theres a eatx shutdown relay under the hood in the fuse box, try pulling that but i suggest that you take it to a mechanic asap , when the eatx engages its typically due to a tranny issue and there needs to be repairs preformed.
