Software Testing: the process of exercising software and verifies and satisfies the customer requirement.

need for Testing tool,to learn new-technology easy to find out the errors.

Now a days WINRUNNER, Test Director, Load Runner and QTP has demand... Better u learn them... Very few companies r seeking for Rational Robot and Silk also...

Software Testing is to provide error free product or code.No software product can be without errors but testing minimizes errors and maximizes reliability.

Software testing is not only the process of finding errors in a software system but also it confirms wheather the software meets customer specifications.The testing tools you have to study are.

Functionality testing tools:
          Winrunner
            
          Quicktest Professional
          Rational Robot
          Silktest professional
Performance Testing tools
              
          Load Runner
          OpenSTA
Test management tool

           Test director

Software testing is a process of obtaining a good quality product by identifying and removing software bugs.

There are several tools like: Win runner, load runner, QTP, SQl etc..

      This depends on you.
Which ever tool u select, we(tester) have to indetify the software bugs and prevent it from the application under test.

Validation and verification is called as soft ware Testing

we can also say as how to crash the application
