Hi:

I have a Dodge Challenger with a 440 cu engine in it, most of it is stock.  The question I have is this; what is the device on the distributor towards the intake manifold that has a screwed on cap on it?  No one that I had talked to knew.

Please if you can email me back at bb48@ntrs.com with an answer.
Thanks

It is the distributor drain cap. Stupid. everyonce and a while you have to drain the electricity.

It should be where you connect a manual tachometer with a cable instead of an electric.
