Thats hard to tell because some pet bulls (pit/am.staff mix) do get more of a pits look and do almost look the same as a purebred, a pure pit has long elegant legs with thick bones, if you look at some blue pits and "monster pits" you can tell they are mixes even tho they have a full ped and all that, I had a pit once she was white with blue markings and I got her registered even tho she had mastiff in the 3rd generation. A pits lips are tight and clean, not like a bulldog or mastiff, coat is short and the head is blocky and the nose drills are big to get more air while fighting. best thing you can do to get a pure bred pit is to buy it from a breeder that goes for the gameness standard and have their dogs registered in a pit bull club.

purebreed pitbulls having locking buttholes. stick your thumb in his butt and if he lets go, hes not pure breed.be careful though i seen a man use his penis on a purebreed and we had to kill the dog to get him off.the man still has a pitbull butthole penis ring.its a risky business

someone once told me if it has 5 nipples than it's pure bred. I looked at my puppy and it has seven, so hes not :(

thier skull will be the answer to either your denile or your retardedness, come on man just look at the damn dog,you'll know whether or not its a pure pit. Take a look at some pictures of pure breed pits on the web and decide for yourself, chances are if your dog looks close enough to what the pictures on the web look like than its probably a pure pit.

open his/her mouth if she/he has a tongue with black dots on them he/she is not real.and/or look at the back of it`s mouth if it has k9`s at the back it is real.and/or test the bite of the dog when it is a puppy if it bites hard it`s not a pit cause pits know how to control their jaw pressure when playing and fighting if you are playing with it it won`t bite down hard but if you are traing it to fight if it dont lock jaw on none of the stuff you are training him/her with it is not real do all this except the last part when it is a puppy/puppet

You guys are gay. DNA is the only way I know of.The breed as many different sylistic and genetic traits, real hard to tell. Also their gene is very strong , when breed with another type of dog , the pitbull genetics usually dominate.

YEAH!.... how do u know if a pit is a pure pit.. dats not pix.. i have a red noise pit.. dat da color of white and brown.. da brwon spots on it have some lil stripes looking like prendos...... so yeah... im not sure..my friend told me if u pick it up by its neck like where da mom carries it when it was a baybe.. and if if u pick it up by da neck on..by holding da skin and if it doesnt squeal then its a pure breed pit... but i dont believe him.. so some one help me out here!! PLEASE.......... :)

them ppl are stupip... look what u have to do is check the head and the body...i mean the head should be square when look from the side and it should have a broad forehead and mouth when look from the front... the body should be strong woth very good resistance, it should show some kind of muscles but not lot, the teeth should lock perfectly in place when the mouth is shut...

A purebred pit doesn't look like a dam old english bulldog
