My cat has a problem and i don't know what to do with her, she is pulling out her hair. she is losing her hair from the back waist to the tip of her tail. i went to the vet and they said it was fleas and she has been taking advantage(medicine) and it hasn't helped.
so im pretty sure she isn't allergic to fleas.
I am very worried about her if you could help please email me back

my cat does the same. our vet told us not to feed her fish  products anymore.. but i'mhonestly not sure that that is what the problem is. i think the key is to pay attention to when she began the behavior. once they start, it's pretty hard to stop.. it's kind of like nail biting in humans. my cat started doing this while she was being cat-sat. then we moved... that was 2 years ago. her belly is bear and sometimes she gets her tail, although it's all grown back now. our new apartment is on a noisy block.. and as she is a quiet-lover, i think this may contribute to her nervousness. we went on a "family" trip to the country last weekend and she came back with more hair... but now that we are back, she's pulling it again. i feel your pain!!!
