I have a 13 year old chow who has been getting flaky, oily patches, almost like pimples on her back.  The vet said it might be a staff infection, and treated it as such, with medication and medicated bathes.  It has returned.  My chow is not an outdoor dog, and has a beautiful coat.  What can I do for this condition? And have you heard of this in the chow breed?
