I have a ten and a one dollar bill with stars at the end of their serial numbers and I was wondering how much each are worth and also where I would take them if I wanted to sell them.

Star Notes…
Sometimes the prefix or suffix letter is replaced by a star. This means a note was damaged during printing. The damaged note is replaced with a star note. The notes are exactly the same, except there is a different series of serial numbers, and a star replaces one of the letters.

How rare are bills with stars.  They don't seem to be all that rare.  I got 1 $20, 2 $10, 1 $5, and 1 $1 in 5 days.  Dec. 28, 2006 - Jan. 1, 2007
