I cannot figure out the title of a dinosaur movie I saw...

I cannot figure out the title of a dinosaur movie I saw years ago that was unusual due to its sheer darkness. It's a typical dino movie with a group of people who find a lost world, fight off the dinos and cannibals, develop at least one romance, and return - at least most of them do - to their own time and/or place.

All I can remember of this movie is that no one returns. In fact, they are all killed during the last 15 minutes of the movie save for the one young male (yes, his girlfriend bought it too) and we just see him in a loincloth, alone sharpening a spear, I think. There may have been some voice-over about his lonliness...not sure. He was a young Jeremy London type. The only other thing I can remember is at the last battle, these people were surrounded by dinos in a canyon type setting with the standard volcano action going on. This movie wasn't old. I saw it in the late 80s or early 90s and it seemed new at the time.

omg i am looking to find that same movie! i remember there being dinosaurs like from the show "dinosaurs" and theres these teens that have some sort of transporter in thier garage and at the end theryre all in this building in "dino land" or something and its gonna collapse and the only one that gets out is that young guy. and i have no idea what its called.
