I have multicolored dragon in play, and my friend has a creature with protection from color that match with one of the colors of my dragon.

Does he have protection from from my dragon, or he must have protection from all its colors?

Or maybe multicolored spells act as if they were colorless?

the answer is no; he only need to have protection from one of the colors
