Yes they do. I bought a AKC yorkie who is a year old now. My vet said he has never seen a yorkie so big. He is 13+1/2 lbs now. I have been looking for a female everywhere for him but can't find one large enough! I'm thinking on changing his name to Andre the Giant.  If anyone knows where I can find a large female email me. Thanks, Jan

well... my yorkie is 5 and a half months and she weighs 8.6 pounds.the breeder said she will only get 6 pounds. so i guess it just depends. alot of yorkies get more than 7 pounds.
