if i were to pierce my lip, how long would it stay swolen? or if it will at all.

Well it depends on your body. Usually for everyone, it doesn't swell at all the day you do it. After that, some people don't swell at all, and on the other hand some are swollen for like 2 weeks. But for most people it'll be somewhere between 2 to 6 days. The first day of swelling is always the worst, so after you get through that it's just smooth sailing.

hi im 14, and i want to get my lip pierced but my parents wont let me, and i wanted to get information on how to pierce it myself without getting it infected

i wanna know how to conceil the peircing if i get it (from rents, bosses and teachers)... also, i have never defied my rents b4 and am becoming really rebelious and want to know how to do it, glove, needle, lighter, stud and ect. I see gory stuff and never get quezy but around getting peircings i gag. lol

i pierced my lip last night and its a lil swollennd its sore but i think it will go away it only hurts a lil bit soo dont b scared

hey. ummm any good ideas for concealing a lip piercing????????? I'm stuck on this, i have really christian parents who will crucify me once they see what I've done. :D

well, for me it swelled up as soon as i did it, but it didn't hurt or bother me, the only time it did swell is when i messed with it. but a few days later it was fine.

i pierced my lip myself and it has been swollen for the past three days. but it doesnt hurt and it isnt infected... so its normal to have swelling

Well it would only stay swollen for a few days, it actualy depends on your type of skin, im 16 have had my tongue, ears and nose pierced and had my eye brow a few weeks ago but my body rejected it :( [i love piercings!!!XD].. im getting my lip periced and people have reminded me that.. yeah like Riotingpacifist said, the first day is the worst, just eat alot of ice, that always helps the swelling. but be careful, with all the bacteria that your mouth attacks can lead to infection. neways i wish you luck :) have fun and enjoy it!

i just periced my lip but like i did it half way one day and the rest the nest and it is pretty swollen and looks really gross and im not even putting a ring in it cause i want it toi close up, do you know how long it will take to close up ? and aallso how long untill the sweelling isss gone

yeah but it also depends on how they do it mine they couldnt get through so it did swell once they did and it stayed swollen for bout 2 and a half weeks
