possible size as adult? my little girl is now almost 3 months old. saturday i took her to the vet for some of her scheduled shots. i had them weigh her and she came out as 3.2 pounds. she will be 12 weeks on thursday 4-22-04. at that age weighing that much, what would your guess be at her adult size? thanx in advance!

Based on personal experience with many dogs, not all of them mine, I would suspect that she will end up somewhere around 7 pounds, give or take a pound.  This is providing that she is at a healthy weight now and does not become unhealthily overweight as she grows up.  BTW, spaying will not make your dog fat and lazy.  I have two females, one is the supermodel edition, long and lean and slender, the other more athletically built.  Both spayed, both active and at a good weight.  Feeling their ribs slightly is not necessarily bad, they're supposed to look almost not quite too thin.  As long as she has good energy, she's getting enough to eat.
