I WAS DRIVING SUNDAY AND ACCELERATED, THE CAR JUST MAINTAINED A 40 MPH SPEED AND WOULD GO NO FASTER. WHAT HAS HAPPENED AND WHAT DO I DO. 2000 VW JETTA TDI.
60 K MILES... HELP I AM A DESPERATE FEMALE..... THANKS

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR AIR FLOW SENSOR IS BAD. MY VEHICLE WAS DOING THE SAME THING, AND FOR LESS THAN $60.00 I REPLACED IT AND IT IS RUNNING LIKE IT IS BRAND NEW. SENSOR IS LOCATED JUST PAST THE AIR FILTER BOX. VERY EASY TO CHANGE.
