Are the Baha'i pacifist or anti-war? What do they believe...

Are the Baha'i pacifist or anti-war? What do they believe about war to free the tortured an oppressed? I know they have many beliefs that are cyclical IE: crime deseves justice, wars beget peace, life is in circle w/ death? Pls e.mail me direct at gcims@bellsouth.net. My mother became Bahai and is now very anti war and anti-Bush 43 despite being an apolitcal org. Thx much.

We are not pacifists.  We are about the unity of mankind.  True, we are not politically affiliated, even instructed not to discuss politics, as it is divisive; but enjoined to vote and follow the laws of a just government.  Our Writings tell us that world leaders (i.e. United Nations)should rise up together to put down oppressive governments. Hope this helps...
