No, I do not.  Though you can simply search for pictures by going to http://www.google.com/  Just type in what you need and hit the 'Search' button.  There ya have it.

For the longest time I was sure that Dr. Hannibal Lecter was in fact a real person and that the movies were based on him.  But now that I am talking to people about him and looking for stuff online, i came to the conclusion that he is NOT real. Therefore, there are no pictures of the real Hannibal Lecter.

Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling are both fictional characters. They were created by Thomas Harris for a story.

Hannibal Lecter is based off a real seriel killer in America, but the film and books are just building off him, there is not a thing except the base character in the movies that are real, he is still alive and does have Lecters character, the clever cunningness. I can imagine him as curator for an art gallery in Florence :P

i also would like to see actual pictures of the real hannibal lecter. everything that happened in the movies arent true of course but the story is based off of a real person. sort of like texas chainsaw massacre. they have the case files on the dvd of red dragon. go watch.

I think that Hannibal Lecter is a real person. I would like to see what he really looks like and I want to meet him, you know like behind the glass of course, i wouldn't want him biting off my face. I would also like to meet Clarice. My sis'AOL screen name is jameslilgal.

I have seen the movies and I have seen the real person. he is in side us all every time we look at a person and wonder how it would feel to eat them or even when we look at meat.

Anthony Hopkins is a very gifted actor!
He plays many great parts in many great movies.
Hannibal Lecter is for sure one of Anthony Hopkins greatest roles as an actor.
Note: Anthony Hopkins NEVER blinks while playing Hannibal Lecter.

Its amazing how much arguing goes on about Dr. Lecter. He is real and yes there are pictures of him but yet they r quiet hard to find since the fact it is such an old case, but if I find any I would send them to anyone who would ask... Blackrosegrim@hotmail.com

A couple of years ago I could find the real Hannibal with Google search, cannot find him anymore. Hannibal Lecster is based on a real person.

Hannibal Lecter is not a real person.  The author drew inspiration for his character from a bunch of real life serial killers.  When a movie says" Based on a true story" or "Based on actual events", this is not entirely true.  They take an actual event that has happened and create a story around it.  So while the event, or one closely like it actually happened, it's not the actual people or event in the movie.

hannibal lecter was created by thomas harris.
As far as i know his creation was based on an acutal cannibal during the 1930's. His name was Albert Fish.
Albert Fish killed a 10 year old gurl and supposedly ate the flesh.

Silence of the lambs and The texas chainsaw massacre are both based on the real serial killer Ed Gain. However both of these movies only share a shread of truth with the real killer. Search Ed Gain in google but dont say i didnt warn you

I think what cz21allstar ment was if anyone had a link to a drawn picture of Hannibal Lecter. Not Anthony Hopkins. I've been wondering the same thing. But anywho, I just wanted to see if I could clear that up. If I'm wrong, then I'm terribly sorry for posting. =D

The texas chainsaw wasn't actually a real event if you have the latest dvd remake their is a documentary saying the film was based upon the killings of Ed Gein and the actual event didnt actually happen

Hannibal is based off of a real life serial killer, Ed Gein.  He died in 1984 and is the focus of movies such as silence of the lambs, tx chainsaw masc, psycho etc.

Hannibal Lecter, Psycho, and Texas Chainsaw are all based on Ed Gein.....there has been a movie made about him titled 'Ed Gein', came out in 2004 I think

hannibal lector is not real but the the person out of silence of the lambs is he was real he dug up real bodies from graves rapped them and then cut of skin and body parts he had them in jars and had shrunken heads in his bedroom i no all this as i watched a documentory on the real silence of the lambs if u want to ask more email kyle_morris_9@hotmail.com i am only 13 but the series is excellent but the real silence of the lambs is much better i advice u all 2 c it

Albert Fish is said to have been the "Real Life" Hannibal.  I, however, disagree with such statement and find that while Mr. Fish's crime was disgusting, does not hold a candle to the fictional character in the movies or books.  The character is of course myth and for that we should all be thankful.

Look Kids, the case file in Red Dragon is not a real FBI case file about an existing person. It was created soley for the purpose of trying to understand the complex Hannibal Lecter character created by Thomas Harris. For the last time, Hannibal Lecter is not real! As for the serial killer he is BASED off of, the only connection is cannibalism, and that is exagerated in the novels. Please, don't mock these great books with half baked questions, do your own research first.

Hannibal was a fictional character that was based in part on many different serial killers throughout criminal history.   He's got characteristics of Ted Bundy, Albert Fish, Ed Gein, and others.   Each of those I've mentioned, some were quite intelligent, some weren't.  To look at Ted Bundy, for example, for his time was a clean cut respectable guy and many liked him.  Gein work his victims as clothes, his furniture was made from his victims, and he often wore the facial skin of his victims as a mask; sound familiar?  Read on Albert Fish and you'll see more familiarities.  Whether or not there's a real Hannibal Lecter out there, I'm not sure, and wont say there's not or is for I don't know everything and I wouldn't be suprised if there were or is.  But so far as I know he's a work of pure fiction; all be it one of great genius and immagination.

I think that he is real no matter what people say.....if you watch the dvd on the special features part of it there is a section called, "Inside the mind of Hannibal Lector". There is a short video of an FBI agent that helped catch the real person. BUt the actual movie does not have the right or somewhat modified facts. I am a criminal psychologist and I have done so many case studies and such on cannibals and what not and I can guarantee you that nether Hannibal Lecter or Clarisse Starling are real.  They were both created based on real people but they are fictional.  End of story :-)

He IS real..i had to study him for a project (i'm kinda obsessed with serial killers and there motivations..i wanna be a detective) believe me i did my homework on this...he is still alive in a prison in Maryland, he is a real person who did eat his patients, but eventually was caught..he is very intelligent and isn't allowed visitors nor can the guards at the prison speak to him because in 1998 he was speaking with guard about something and the next thing u know he was helping him out of prison. He Escaped once but was caught not too long after and has been imprisoned ever since:-)

Hannibal lecter is based on a serial killer from america in the 1800's and early 1900's. his name was Albert Fish. you can google him to check. he was a child molester and cannibal, not someone to go fawning after and making shrines...

I understand that many of you think that Hannibal Lecter isn't real. On the Red Dragon DVD there is a special feature talking about the "real Hannibal Lecter. " So, now I'm confused. Is he real or not?

The story created by Thomas Harris, is infact a fictional tale. Though, it is based upon true life cases. Hannibal is not just one specific person but a compile of many differnt serial killers.

i have watched the movie "hannibal rising" and i have been searching everywhere to see if he is real or not. i find in other articles that he is not real just a character made from another serial killer but i wished he was real because he seemed like the perfect killer. sooo smart!
