All you have to do is put a lot of crushed ice, ice cream, or slurpee in your mouth and that should help the swelling go down cause the swelling should go down 2 or 3 days after you get it done. Also, everynight that you go to sleep just make sure that your ring is tight and you should be go for the night.. Good Luck

My tounge took 5 days for the swelling to go down...it it takes different time for different people...just wait a week at the most and if it's not gone down by then go to the doctor or your piercer.

Well i had my tongue pierced midday yesterday and there's no sign of swelling at all! It only bled a tiny bit too!

Though i am slightly worried as my tongue seems to weeping a bit underneath and it looks a little white-ish on top :?

when you brush your teeth just use mouthwash to rinse out your bar.
