yes it is quite possible to execute an user defined function earlier than main.this can bee done with the help of # pragmas.
chech with r compile wwhether #pragma startup is available.mostly it is available with turboc, borlandc etc.u have to specify the name of the function frroom which u want to start the execution.also with # pragma u can tell the compiler which function should be executed while exitting.

yes it ca be possible by using #pragma exit <fuction name>
