I had this problem to, or still have.
You have to go to internetoptions in your internet explorer, then delete all internetfiles. Itīs important to delete all offlinefiles. then change your startsite and press ok.
My problem is that it comes back when I start kazaa lite.
If someone could help me, I would be thankful.
If you have problems understanding me, please excuse my bad english. Iīm german and can only translate the optionnames from german to english and donīt really know how they were called in the english version of ie.

This is coolwebsearch spyware causing this.. its a CWS.msconfd.2 viriant that can only be removed if you remove certian Dll's
This one crashes CWShredder! oh its getting nasty out there!

had a heck of a time removing it,. spybot wouldnt, giant software (ms) tried and was shocked that ad-aware didnt even notice it.

Do a search on CWS.msconfd.2 and you will find the dll's that need to be removed, i found if i renamed them and rebooted this was effective.
