I also have a 1935 one dollar silver certificate (along with many others) however this one appears different in a couple of ways:  the date is to the lower right of the blue seal instead of the left and the paper feels different.  Perhaps this bill has been handled less? (regarding the paper.  Does anyone have any idea why the date is in a different spot? and if this adds to the value?

I have some one dollar silver certificates from 1935 too, and was wondering if they were worth anything. Everyone says to give a good description, so I'll do my best. The first one is a series 1935 C and the serial is I82364E. The second is a series 1935 C serial number L50212E. They both are well worn, but are good for they're 74 years of service. Please tell me the value.....if any. If you need more info, please tell me too.

I have a one dollar silver certificate from series 1935 D.  It's been folded maybe 4 times down the middle and it's definitely not in mint condition, but it's still pretty stiff.  There are no tears and all of the corners are still pointy.  The serial number is Y 84054255E and the little number on the back is 4812.  There are no visible stains.  Any clue how much this is worth?

I checked around with many differant venders and was told that the 1935 one dollar bill is worth face value, however the condition does matter alot. If you have a crisp 1935 the bill could be worth as much as $10.00.

Not sure if I'm doing this right...Here goes.  I have a one dollar bill.  It's seal is in blue, series 1957, silver certificate on top.  The serial number is in blue also.  It has Guy Balnu Priest? signature on the left and Robert Anderson on the right.  Is it worth anything?  I found it in a book, At the libruary in Heidelberg Germany.

I have a "Series 1935 A" dollar bill, in mint condition (no folds, creases, etc.) I saw one just like it on EBay going for 55 cents. That may give some idea of the going price. Value is one thing, what people will actually pay is another.
