how many times can i use regenerate?

how many times can i use regenerate?

It depends on how the ability is worded.  Activated abilities use the form
"COST : EFFECT"

examples: G : Regenerate
          T : Regenerate target sliver
          Sacrifice a creature : Regenerate

As long as you can pay the cost of activation, you can keep setting up regeneration shields. As long as you have a green open you could. With the 2nd, as long as you can tap that creature, you can regenerate, etc..
