it doesn't have any ability. The purpose of this card is because of the high casting cost. With this advantage, u could use spells like dispersing shield or something.
Its just a creature that u could morph, so its useless unless u have some combine with it, like torrent of fire, etc.

Morph is the ability to summon a card face down. It can be countered just like any other spell, but the other player would not know what he/she is countering. Whenever you morph a card into play, you pay 3 colourless mana, declare it as morph, and puts it into play if the other player wishes not to counter your card, as a 2/2 Creature without abilities (except morph, or unmorph, for that matter). You may on the same turn (or on another turn), declare the morph ability on that same card again, pay the morph cost, then flip it over.

As has been suggested, Scornful Egotist has no real use as in itself, casting a Torrent of Fire (Torrent of Fire deals damage equal to the greatest casting cost of a card in your control to target creature or player) would help make use of the extremely high casting cost that the Egotist obviously does not deserve.
