As far a I know, It isnt possible, the sperm would have to make it's way out of the anus, onto the vulva, enter the layers of the vagina, make it's way UP the cervix wall. This is fairly unlikly... however it is possible.

Can a women get pregnant by having anal sex, because when I read one of the statements that was asked it said that she can't get pregnant, but something about the virginal and the anus are close together and the semen drips then she could get pregnant. I am confused on that an I need a straight answer.

It's questions like these that makes me think George Bush's sex education policy of promoting abstinence may actually result in the dumbification of our country. And to answer the question, only if there are leaks into the vagina. But of course if the participants are both men, dumbification may have already occurred.

It is not technically possible to get pregnant from anal sex; there is no way for semen to get from the rectal tract to the vaginal tract. However, anal sex is still not a very good method of birth control. Semen leaking from the anus after intercourse may drip across the perineum (the short stretch of skin separating vulva and anus) and cause what is known as a 'splash' conception. The failure rate for this is surprisingly high! 8% of couples of who use anal sex as a method of birth control have babies each year.

It's possible for the semen to drip down to the vagina and get them pregnant. Also doing anal there's a VERY high risk of STD. I've even heard you can tear the rectum. So just know what your doing before you try anal; and use a condom and lubrication.

you can likely become pregnant if you and you boyfriend are lying down together but is likely not. however, if you want to get pregnant the docters can locate a sperm into you to produce a baby. for any more advice my e-mail is sachafawaz@hotmail.com. my answers are really helpful i also helped a 15 girl too.see ya!
