My 5 week old chihuahua has not really been eating. Do I need to feed her out of the bottle or what?

It probably doesn't no how yet? Why is it away from it's mother so soon , it should still be nursing? I would contact a vet immediately depending on how long it hasn't had liqiuds it could be severely dehydrated!
Maybe the vet could recommend a baby formula that would be closest to mother's milk.

Veterinarian.  Now!  That dog is much too young to be away from its mother, and if it is an orphan it still needs a mother substitute.

Also contact your local animal shelter or ASPCA, they may have a female with pups who could wet-nurse your puppy along with her own litter.  Of course, you could always adopt the female and have a permanent mother for the puppy (and please have both animals spayed).

TOTALLY in agreement...the puppy is far too young to be away from its mother.  Be extra-vigilant and extra-patient in all things.  If it is not eating at all, see a vet!   But also realize that smaller breeds also have smaller stomachs.  DO NOT free-feed (leaving food out all the time).
