My dog has is bleeding when she has a bowel movement what does this mean?

If she was thought to be pregnant or could have been, it means she has lost her pups. But this should not happen more than once or a couple times.

i picked a dog from my breeder, brought him home and immediately noticed everytime he "went" he had blood in his stool.  turns out he got into some kind of poison for rats/mice and he died the next day at the vet's office.  very said two days for us.
