I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI conv. v6 2.5 LTR. I was leaving to take my grand daughters home about a 2 hr. drive. I had put some water in my raidator before leaving and i noticed 45 miles later that i had forgotten to put the raidator cap back on.well after a couple of hours of being stuck on the side of the road i got water put in it and tried to start the car and it wouldnt start it was so quiet you could barley hear the engine trying to turn over, a mechanic man that i know who has a transmission shop wasnt far far from where my car broke down at so he checked it out some what and said from the way it sounded when trying to start the car he said it was the timing belt he never took the cover off the case to see, i guess just going on experience, could it be the timing belt or did i crack my head?
