You realy shouldnt breed any dog under 4 pounds. It very dangerous and had a high probobility of death for your girl and the puppies.

I have a male chihuahua who is 2 yrs old. I want him to mate, but you first need to find out if you're dog is ready. My dog weights 2.5 - 3lbs. (depends on if he just finish eating, LOL). But I am defenitely trying to find him a girlfriend. Please write to me whenever you find out if it is safe for your chihuahua to mate. my email address is aghernandez43@yahoo.com. thanks.

If you have a tea-cup Chihuahua it would be best to bread with a tea-cup male Chihuahua, if it is just a puppy I would suggest not breading her until after her first heat.

It would be best for the male to be same size or smaller than her, as to not hurt her. when they tend to get stuck together the female gets..well uncomfortable and tends to move a lot, this could hurt the male try to keep her as calm as you can, the male will tend to stay calm and stand there. But if your female is flipping him around it could hurt him and her both.

I wouldn't breed your 1.4 pound chihuahua. She is too small. The male always has to be smaller than the female, the chance of you finding a smaller male chihuahua than her is real difficult. And is dangerous for your 1.4 pound female. Shes just too small. You should buy another that will be about 5-6 pounds if you want to breed. They are much more capable of going through the birthing process because they are much bigger than the tiny chi's. Also, That way your 1.4 pound chi could have someone to play with.
